Who can apply at LIFE?
Anyone who is over 18 years old, with a high school degree or equivalent (Bachelor student or degree is an asset) and fluent in English
Can I apply this year if I applied to the last edition as well?
Yes, you can apply this year even if you applied in the previous edition (regardless of whether you were accepted or not).
How are LIFE fellows selected?
The selection of fellows is based on their performance in the following tests/instruments:
1. General Ability,
2. Coding Knowledge,
3. Numerical Reasoning,
4. Verbal Reasoning,
5. Critical Thinking,
6. Personal qualities (personality questionnaire), and
7. Personal interview with short listed candidates.
In what language are the placement tests conducted?
The placement tests are conducted in English language.
Is the LIFE program accredited?
LIFE is a non-formal professional training program.
What profiles will fellows be trained in by LIFE?
Fellows will be trained in four profiles: FrontEnd, BackEnd, DevOps, and PM (Product Manager).
The Business and Leadership course and the Applied Ai course are integrated on all profiles.
When does the LIFE program begin, and how long does it take to complete?
The LIFE program will start in September 2025 and conclude in July 2026..
How is the LIFE program structured?
The immersive LIFE program will consist of 9 months of intensive training. The program will be structured in four periods which compound to a total of 36 weeks of instruction. Throughout the course of the program, fellows will be engaged on a full-time basis (approx. 40h/week).
What language are the lectures conducted?
The languages of lectures, instruction, and coursework are in Albanian and in English.
In what format is the training/instructions conducted?
The instruction will be conducted in a hybrid format. A preference will be applied for online sessions, but interested fellows may also participate in-person lectures.
How much is the cost of the LIFE program and who pays for it?
The program is free of charge for the fellows. All costs are covered by LIFE Employer Network companies through a scholarship-stipend.
What happens if a fellow decides to terminate training at LIFE?
Should a fellow decide to prematurely terminate training during the first five months (during the First and the Second Periods), they will not be liable for any payments.
What happens if a fellow fails during the training at LIFE?
Should a fellow fail during the training at LIFE, they will not be liable for any payments.
Are fellows guaranteed employment after the completion of the LIFE program?
All fellows who successfully complete the LIFE program are guaranteed automatic employment at Gjirafa, KODE Labs, RADIX, 91Life, Matrics, and/or other companies that are members of the LIFE Employer Network.
How long after the completion of the program must a LIFE graduate work for the LIFE Employer Network company that covered their expenses at LIFE?
LIFE graduates commit to working for their match company for a minimum period of 2 years with a prior disclosed salary and agreed-upon conditions.
What happens if a fellow refuses to work for the LIFE Employer Network company that has covered their expenses at LIFE?
Should any LIFE graduate decide not to work for the Employer Network companies, LIFE graduates will be able to pay the full costs of the LIFE program instead.
Does LIFE offer a certificate upon the successful completion of the program?
Fellows who successfully complete the LIFE program are awarded a certificate of non-formal professional training by LIFE.
